CHIRK AIRFIELD - INFORMATION

Carboot Opening Times:
During British summer time 2008 i.e from 30th March to 19th October 2008, we operate on the main airfield every Sunday from 5am to 3pm. We are also open on all bank holiday Mondays on the smaller top field. Sellers can arrive between 5am-9:30am, but we suggest you arrive approx 7:30am other than bank holiday weekends when it is extremely busy, so come early! The market operates all year round. During the winter months i.e from Sunday 26th October 2008, we operate on the top field every week from 6am to 2pm.

Information:
There is no need to book a pitch - you can just turn up, unless you have caterering, amusement facilities or if you require a large pitch area, in which case please contact us to obtain our agreement prior to your arrival. However, please note that for the forseeable future we are fully booked, so please ask to join the waiting list if you wish. There are 3 toilet blocks on site, 2 at the bottom of the field and one at the top. There are refreshments available and parking is free. If you have any queries or problems, there are marshalls who wear yellow hi-visibility vests who will be pleased to assist.

Pitch Fees:
car: £8.00
car & trailer: £9.00-£12.00
van: £10.00- £15.00
van+trailer: £10.00-£15.00 (plus trailer cost)
traders: by arrangement

Please note registered charities are exempt from pitch fees if they provide a registered charity number or proof of charity.
